It’s no secret that many fans of the Call Of Duty franchise are up in arms due to the recent controversy in regards to the newest game Infinite Warfare set to be released in November of this year. One of the most favourable games, Modern Warfare, released in 2007 is to be released with the newest in the series, however according to some credible sources you will need to have the Infinite Warfare disc in your console even with the Modern Warfare download, meaning that if you were intending to purchase the game or the code from a third-party you may want to think again.
Not only is this a huge kick in the teeth for the fanbase, you will also be quite upset to hear that the regular edition of the game will not be featuring the much anticipated remaster! You will need to purchase the Legacy, Legacy Pro or Digital Deluxe edition of the game, starting at £69 (Amazon) in order to own the remaster.
At the current moment in time, we assume this is just a speculation and you won’t need to have the disc in your console to play, but we all know Activision and the way they dish out the bad news – no doubt they will release a standalone game later on in the year just to create more unnecessary revenue.

I’m personally incredibly disheartened to find that you’ll need to purchase a bundle as opposed to the regular game, however what are your opinions and thoughts on the matter? Do you think it’d be worth it in the end, or do you think it should be a pre-order bonus? Let us know in the comment section down below.
