No Man’s Sky is a game about exploration and survival in an infinite procedurally generated galaxy. The game is set for release on August 9 but it seems PC users will have to endure a slightly longer wait. Despite confusion around the PC release, Sean Murray confirmed via Twitter that the game will be coming to PC on August 2.
PC NMS release will now be global and will be August 12th worldwide. It's so important we get it right and make the best version we can

We apologise for the extra days wait this means for North America. Steam page will updated to reflect this asap

There are reasons we have to be tight lipped at times. I'm sorry for the confusion caused 🙁
