If you’ve been wondering when those upcoming VR games from Ubisoft were coming out wonder no more as they have provided release dates for all three of their VR games. The first one to release will be Eagle Flight which will release on October 18 for Oculus, November 8 for PlayStation VR, and December 20 for the HTC Vive. In eagle flight you play as a eagle flying over Paris with options for both a single player and multiplayer modes.
On November 29, Ubisoft will release Star Trek: Bridge Crew on all three of the major VR platforms. From retailer listings the game will cost $59.99. Finally on December 6 Ubisoft will release Werewolves Within on all three of the VR platforms for $29.99. Werewolves Within is a multiplayer party game for 5-8 players where players must figure out who is a werewolf in disguise. Additionally, Ubisoft will also be releasing a patch for their racing game Trackmania Turbo on November 8 to add PlayStation VR support.
It’s great to see Ubisoft supporting the VR devices with plenty of games but I can’t help but feel that some of them such as Star Trek: Bridge Crew are overpriced. Time will tell if customers are willing to pay that much for their VR games. Let us know in the comments if you’re looking forward to any of these VR titles.
