Vsync has been a welcome feature in the emulation of Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One because it fixes up a lot of the screen tearing that the old Xbox 360 versions suffered from but one side effect has been the slight but noticeable increase in input lag caused by the use of vsync. Thankfully, the latest Xbox One update has fixed that issue across all backward compatible games for good.

This means some of the games where input lag is more troublesome (Black Ops, Borderlands, Gears of War etc.) the issue is now all cleared up and you can enjoy an even smoother experience.
