We’re about halfway through April and its that time again to give the predictions for Xbox Games With Gold for May. The Games with Gold for April are Ryse: Son of Rome, The Walking Dead: Season Two, Darksiders, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

1) Forza Motorsport 5

Forza is known for its racing games. In Motorsport 5, we get to go around the different tracks  in Europe and America. Forza is usually popular by having a variety of cars and the racetracks. The graphics and gameplay also make Forza a popular racing game series.

2) Dishonored: Definitive Edition

Set in a fictional town of Dunwall, the story follows Corvo Attano who is framed for the killing of the Empress Jessamine. Corvo escapes the prison and takes revenge on those who had framed him for the crime. Along the way, he rescues the daughter of the Empress, Emily, who we learn in Dishonored 2 is also his daughter. Emily then is kidnapped again by the people who had helped Corvo get out of prison so Corvo rescues Emily and kills the ones who had helped him escaped.

I enjoy this game because it gives you different options of how to carry on the missions. You can be stealthy or go all out and kill everyone or a combo of the two. The overall story is really good. I do admit for it being a first person game, at first, to me at least, it took some time to get use to how they used the first person angles.

3) Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

Earlier this month, we did a April Fool’s joke about this game becoming backwards compatible only to see that earlier this week, Xbox announced that it has become one of the latest games in the backwards compatible library. Now since this is one of the fan favorites, it would make sense that they would have this as a Games with Gold sooner or later.

The game is set during the first cold war (1986 to 1989) and then again during the second cold war (2025). During the first cold war Alex Mason chronicles the rise of infamy against Raul Mendenez.  During the second cold war it is Mason’s son David who fights against Mendenez.

4) South Park: The Stick of Truth

South Park The Stick of Truth is a RPG in which the new kid in town is torn between the game war between the humans, elves, and wizards over the Stick of Truth. During the game, we come across Nazi zombies, aliens, and gnomes. With all of this going on, the town is threaten with destruction.

Just like the cartoon series, the Stick of Truth does have the same elements of comedy and humor which makes it a funny and lovable game. The gameplay is great. When playing as the new kid, just the interaction between the other kids in the game makes you feel like you are in the show/game itself.

I’d love Black Ops 2 but I heard people are actually buying this game in droves now that it’s BC so I doubt it will happen.
