For part two of my Games with Gold Predictions, like last month, I am going to take a look back at previous Games with Gold articles I’ve done and pick a few that I wouldn’t mind seeing as part of the Games with Gold lineup. In part one, I had chosen Beyond Eyes, Diablo III, Condemned: Criminal Origins, and Alice: Madness Returns. For July, the Games with Gold are: Grow Up, Runbow, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, and Lego: Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video game.
The game centers around its protagonist, Yarny, a small, apple-sized creature made of red yarn. Yarny explores the world around him that makes small everyday things look large due to his small size. By using the yarn his body is made of, Yarny creates a rope to form bridges, pull things, and swing from items. His yarn is the main medium used to solve complex puzzles.
Bayonetta is a witch who shape shifts and uses various firearms. She also uses her hair to summon demons to dispatch her enemies. She is awaken after a 500 year sleep and has no memory of what has happen. As time goes along, she begins to remember. She has one half of the eyes of the world and must look for the other half. The reason for picking this game is because my co-worker has spent some time talking about it and just by the way he was talking about the game, it seems like it is a good game to play.
Also take a look at Robby’s review of Bayonetta.
3.) Fallout: New Vegas
Fallout: New Vegas is an open world action role playing game in which players can control the Courier who gets shot in the head and buried in the beginning of the game. Somehow the Courier survives this ordeal and goes in search of his assailants to get back the package they stole from him. Through his travels in the Mojave desert, the Courier comes across allies and enemies as well as the occasional mutated lifeforms and robots. Overall, if you are a fan of the post apocalyptic world this would be a great edition to Games with Gold. Though it was developed by Obsidian instead of Bethesda, New Vegas does have some of the same feels as Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 games. I enjoy this game. It does have that Fallout feeling but then again it has its own distinct feel to the game like how with Fallout 3 had that dark kind of feel and the D.C. area type of feeling while Fallout 4 had the Boston area and somewhat more upbeat kind of feeling. New Vegas is set apart with the desert and the Vegas area.
4.) Forza Motorsports 5
Forza is known for its racing games. In Motorsports 5, we get to go around the different tracks in Europe and America. Forza is usually popular by having a variety of cars and the racetracks. The graphics and gameplay also make Forza a popular racing game series.
