Xbox 360 Games That Should Get Enhanced For Xbox One X Next After The Recent Update

xboxonex

So, with Crackdown along with some other Xbox 360 games getting the One X enhanced treatment and I think this is a really cool program, it makes me want to go back and replay some old games and maybe it will get some gamers who never played them to give them a try.  It got me thinking of some other games that I would like to see get it also.

Crackdown 2-With the recent update to the first game and the new game on the horizon I’m expecting to see this game get the enhanced treatment sooner rather than later. The one thing I will say about this game is that it was not as good as the first one, but I still enjoyed it.

The Splinter Cell Games– These games are really good and I’m surprised that we haven’t seen a new one come out for the current generation, maybe at this year’s E3 who knows. If you’re into stealth games these games will scratch that itch.

Dragon Age Origins-This is the first game in the series and I think the best. It would be cool to see it get enhanced for people who haven’t yet played it. If you’re looking for a good RPG this is it.

The Command and Conquer Games-These are fun real time strategy games, the original games were developed by Westwood studios who were later bought by EA and closed them(sigh).

Civilization Revolution-This game is what I consider a lite version of the game on PC, it’s not as in-depth as the PC version is, but for me that made it more fun. To be honest I’m surprised we never saw a sequel, here’s hoping that at some point we get one. If I remember right it is available on mobile platforms so you could give it a try on a tablet, not sure I would try playing on a phone.

Crisis 3-I remember having allot of fun with this game back in the day and it had some cool game mechanics. For those not familiar it’s a first-person shooter and you wear a suit you can upgrade to do different things.

Battlefield Bad Company-this was a really fun game and the single player campaign was really cool. It’s not your average Battlefield Game, it Kind of reminded me of movie I watched a number of years ago. At the time the game was release a big selling point was some of the environment was destructible.

Kingdoms of Amalur-This is a really fun action/RPG game, I currently own it on PC and play it using an Xbox controller but would love to play it on my One X. Right now, it’s not backwards compatible but hopefully that will change and get enhanced also.

Star War Forced Unleashed 1 and 2-These were some really cool game where Darth Vader had an apprentice. In the time line they take place between Episode 3 and 4. The cool things about these games are the RPG elements and the force powers you get to use and upgrade.

This list is in no particular order and there are more games that deserve the enhanced treatment, these are just a few that came to mind when I was thinking about it. I’m also hoping to see more original Xbox games become playable on Xbox One/One X since they upscale on the newer hardware, the only downside I found when playing Crimson Skies is no online play support since the original Xbox Live servers are no more.

What 360 games would you like to see enhanced on the Xbox One? Feel free to let us know in the comments.

My name is Paul, I have been playing video games for over 30 years, my first console was a pong machine, no I'm not kidding. Right now I have a Xbox One, and PS4, but mainly play on the Xbox. My favorite games are RPG's or games with some RPG elements, for example KOTOR , and Destiny. I'm also a Microsoft Xbox Ambassador, and a former GameStop employee.
