After Two Years Pokemon Go Is Getting Trading

p go trading

Earlier this morning, it was announced that Niantic’s Pokémon Go which was released back in 2016 will finally be getting trading after two years. It looks like it won’t be as easy as trading in the handheld games of old, instead it will require a cost of Stardust the amount depending on the level of friendship you have with another player. (Friend lists were also announced and that your friendship will level up with friends that you complete raids and gym battles with. Another drawback is that you can only do one special trade a day (a special trade is one involving Legendries, shinies, or Pokémon not already in your Pokedex), not only that but the special trades will require A LOT of Stardust, 40,000+ depending on your friend level.

All in all, I think this will be a major step in the right direction once it gets tweaked a bit to balance the game more. I think having new Pokémon shouldn’t be quite as costly as the point of trading is to get Pokémon you don’t already have. But trading is coming and despite the drawbacks, I’m very excited to see this in the game. What do you think of the new trading system? Let us know what you think in the comments below, and as always, until next time, Keep Gaming.
