The weekly sales charts for the UK market for the week ending June 30th are in and a familiar Bandicoot is back on top. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy rose 21 spots to take the No.1 spot this week thanks to the release of the PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions.
The game sold best on the Xbox One but only just barely as it beat out the Switch version by just 250 copies. Considering the Switch has a much smaller install base compared to the Xbox One in the UK that means it had a pretty good showing on that platform.
The other big new release of the week was Ubisoft’s The Crew 2 which took second place. The game hasn’t gotten great reception from critics and sales are down 25% compared to launch week sales of the original game. FIFA 18 moves down a spot to #3 this week while Mario Tennis Aces drops from No.1 to No.4. God of War continues selling well holding on to the No.5 spot this week.
A couple other noteworthy mentions are Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus which rose 23 spots to No.17 thanks to the game releasing on the Nintendo Switch. Far Cry 3 Classic Edition also released at retail and finished at No.37. You can read the full Top 10 below.
