First off there will be a Aurora Limited Edition for the game at retailers that will include the following items:

  • A copy of the game in an exclusive SteelBook case
  • A 32-page art book
  • The Metro Exodus Expansion Pass
  • All contained in a metal outer case inspired by The Aurora—the steam locomotive that Artyom and his companions use to journey across post-apocalyptic Russia

If you’d rather get the game digitally you can do that starting today where you can pick between the Standard Edition or the Gold Edition that will include the game and the Expansion Pass. No details on the exact content of the Expansion Pass are available yet but 4A Games “intends to commence work on additional single player content as soon as the game has gone Gold and will continue to support the title with updates and free DLC.”

No matter where you pre-order from you will get some additional bonuses depending on which platform you are picking the game up for.

  • All Xbox One pre-orders, physical or digital, include a copy of Metro 2033 Redux—the first game in the Metro saga—remastered for the Xbox One
  • All PlayStation 4 pre-orders, physical or digital, include a PlayStation 4 dynamic theme based on the Metro Exodus “Winter” artwork
  • All physical PC pre-orders and Steam pre-orders include a digital art book and the Metro Exodus original soundtrack

Metro Exodus is set for release currently for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 22, 2019
