The weekly sales charts for the UK region are in and to no surprise FIFA 19 has taken the crown this week.
In just one week, FIFA 19 is now the best selling physical game of the year in the UK market. However it isn’t all good news as sales for the title are down 25% compared to last year’s entry. Maybe more people bought the game digitally this year but who knows. If you want to know how it sold on each platform it goes like this: PS4 with 64%, Xbox One with 35%, and Nintendo Switch with 1%.
Spider-Man meanwhile fell to the No.2 spot this week but did pass Far Cry 5 to become the 2nd best selling game of the year in the UK. Not bad for a console exclusive single player game. Shadow of the Tomb Raider also continues to sell well falling only one spot to No.3 this week.
A couple new entries worth mentioning include Valkyria Chronicles 4 at No.9. The game sold the most on PS4 with 54% of sold copies followed by Switch with 39% and Xbox One with 7%. Dragon Ball FighterZ released on the Nintendo Switch this past week and move the game up to the No.29 spot for the week. You can read the full top 10 below.
