Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have released the official gameplay trailer for Kitana in Mortal Kombat 11. You can check that out below.
NetherRealm also gave details today about the microtransactions in Mortal Kombat 11. They said there would be no “pay-to-win” aspects of it but you will be able to use real money to purchase cosmetic items. The in-game currency is called “time crystals” and once you buy those you can use them to directly purchase skins, intro and victory animations, easy fatalities, gear pieces, and other cosmetic items.
You can also earn everything in the game just by playing the game. The time crystals are only used as a shortcut if you don’t want to invest the time into the game. They will also drop while you play the game. And don’t worry as there are no loot boxes in the game either.
Mortal Kombat 11 launches April 23 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
