Electronic Arts has announced that they will finally be bringing EA Access to the PlayStation 4 this July. EA Access is a subscription service that costs $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year and grants access to the following benefits:

  • Play First Trials – Play up to 10 hours of the most new EA Games.
  • 10% discount on Full Game purchases, expansions, in-game items and more.
  • Access to a growing library of EA games such as Madden, FIFA, Star Wars: Battlefront, Battlefield, etc.

EA Access is already available on both Xbox One and PC and has been for several years now. Back in 2014 Sony appeared to show no signs of wanting to offer EA Access on the PlayStation 4 saying they felt like asking their players to pay an extra $5 a month was not good value. Apparently that stance has now changed.

Let us know in the comments if you’re excited to see EA Access come to PS4.
