After Almost 10 Years, the Multiplayer Servers for Uncharted 2, Uncharted 3, and The Last of Us on PS3 are Shutting Down Soon

Naughty Dog announced this morning that the multiplayer servers in their PlayStation 3 games Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, The Last of Us, and The Last of Us: Left Behind are being shut down later this year.

The oldest of these games, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, is ten years old this year so these servers have had a good run. If you still want to jump in and play them again you’ll have until September 3 of this year to do so. As a farewell gift to those who might be wanting to still play them, Naughty Dog has released bundles on the PlayStation Store of all the Multiplayer DLC for each game for free. You can download them all and enjoy them until the servers shut down. You can get them here, here, and here.

Don’t worry about their PlayStation 4 titles though as the servers for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and The Last of Us: Remastered will remain untouched at least for now. I personally spent a lot of time in the multiplayer modes for all of those PS3 titles and will likely jump back in one last time before they shut down.

How about you? What are your memories of these PS3 titles? Let us know in the comments.
