Sony is Bringing MLB The Show to Additional Platforms Starting in 2021

MLB The Show

Needing to buy a particular platform to play a certain game seems to slowly and slowly be becoming a thing of the past and today yet another game has made that more apparent. Sony Interactive Entertainment, Major League Baseball, the Major League Baseball Players Association and San Diego Studio have jointly announced that they have entered into multi-year extensions to continue and distribute MLB The Show, the award-winning officially licensed video game.

The change comes in the announcement that for the first time ever, starting in 2021 MLB The Show will release on additional console platforms beyond PlayStation. More details about this will be announced in the future.

It’s safe to assume that if you’ve been wanting a good baseball game on Xbox and Nintendo you’ll likely soon be able to pick up the best one around.
