The battle royale genre has been one of the hottest ones over the past couple years thanks to huge games such as Fortnite, Apex Legends, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Now, battle royale is getting some wheels as Microsoft and developer Playground Games have announced that Forza Horizon 4 is adding a free battle royale mode tomorrow, December 12.
This new mode is called Eliminator and it pits 72 players against each other on a huge map to see who can be the last one driving. It works by having players spawn on the map and then finding and challenging each other in 1v1 races to earn upgrades and gain faster cars. Over time the map shrinks bringing racers closer together. You can see it for yourself in the new trailer below. Forza Horizon 4 is available on Xbox One and Windows 10 and available on Xbox Game Pass.
