It seems like Sony will be putting some of their exclusive PlayStation titles on PC very soon according to what sources have told Kotaku.
In an article that was just posted, Kotaku says they were told by three people familiar with the plans that Sony will be putting Horizon: Zero Dawn on PC sometime this year. Developed by Guerrilla Games, Horizon: Zero Dawn released on the PlayStation 4 back in February 2017 and was widely praised and went on to sell over 10 million copies.
The game is expected to launch on both Steam and the Epic Games Store when it does come to PC. This isn’t too surprising as Sony has previously said they were planning to bring some of their titles to PC in the future. We’ve already seen titles such as Journey, Flower, Detroit: Become Human, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Death Stranding release or be announced for release on PC.
It would also be a good way for Sony to bring further interest to the sequel which hasn’t been officially announced but it probably a given. The game will likely launch on PlayStation 5 and would likely remain there for a quite awhile. Let us know in the comments what you think of Sony bringing Horizon to PC.
