Insider Says Exciting Fantasy Worlds, Reboots, and Big Sci-fi are Coming From Xbox

With the upcoming E3 2020 showcase having been cancelled, it’s been a sad time for gamers who look forward to the spectacle of new game reveals. However, that won’t stop major publishers from showing off sparkly new games and with Xbox having recently announced they’ll be hosting digital events up till 2021, we can expect to see what’s new from team Xbox soon.

Known insider Shinobi602 took to ResetEra to indulge a thirsty request for any news on Xbox’s upcoming games. Giving in, Shinobi replied with the following:

…You won’t have to wait too much longer, really. I’m incredibly excited at what’s coming from Xbox… Gorgeous fantasy worlds, reboots, big sic-fi…Should be a lot of fun.

Whilst Shinobi didn’t reveal more than this, we can try to infer what he’s referring to. In terms of gorgeous fantasy worlds, we can infer he is talking about multiple upcoming games.

We can guess that one might be the heavily rumoured upcoming Fable game from PlayGround games – the highly talented studio behind the Forza Series. The fourth game in the Xbox exclusive open-world RPG series has long been rumoured and if this insider knowledge is anything to go by, we might be seeing it sooner rather than later.

Back in 2019, Reddit user LagSwag 1 published details of an alleged Fable 4 leak. The details were derived from a video that’s since been taken down which details a few key features of Fable 4 including both first and third-person perspectives, an in-depth character creator, no guns, the option to ignore the main quest, the option for players to build towns, multi-player and running on Unreal engine. The leak also suggested there will be different worlds and planets to explore. And to access these planets? There could be a time travel element.

That sure does sound exciting. However, it’s difficult to infer what reboots and big sci-fi projects are on the way. Shinobi did however reveal a little more information on Twitter.

But we’ll be excited to find out when Microsoft reveals them. What reboots are you hoping for? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
