DOOM Eternal and The Elder Scrolls Online are Coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X; Free Upgrades Offered for Those Who Own Them Already

Bethesda Softworks has announced that they will be releasing a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X version for both DOOM Eternal and The Elder Scrolls Online.

No date has been provided for the next-gen versions but Bethesda has said that those who own those games on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the new versions for free. Of course, both of those games will also be backwards compatible with the new consoles as well.

Bethesda also said that any of their other games they decide to bring to next-gen consoles will also offer a free upgrade if you own it already. No other games were announced at this time but it’s nice knowing that we might not have to pay for Skyrim again when it probably comes to PlayStation 5 and Series X.
