Xbox Game Pass Hits a Home Run by Adding MLB The Show 21 on Release Day

Microsoft continues to make crazy moves in the video game space as today they announced that MLB The Show 21 will be launching on Xbox Game Pass for console and android for both Xbox Series and Xbox One on launch day.

MLB The Show is developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment and San Diego Studio and has been exclusive to PlayStation for years and year. This year is the first time the franchise has appeared on Xbox with MLB publishing those versions. Xbox players not only getting the game for the first time on their platform but also getting it day 1 on Xbox Game Pass is a huge move by Microsoft and is the second AAA third-party game to launch on the service on Day 1 following Square Enix’s Outriders that launched yesterday.

MLB The Show 21 will be available on April 20 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One.
