1. Not Enough Time Between Far Cry 3 & 4

Far Cry 3 saw success because though the third title in the series, it had been four years since the release of Far Cry 2. There hadn’t been a game like it in quite some time and it was growing with anticipation when it was told that the way the game’s story had went in the past, would change. Like most popular game series though Far Cry is now, potentially, seeing a yearly release, or at least bi-yearly release. Though the last came out in 2012, it was widely popular far beyond that and bleeding into 2013. Because of that, it doesn’t feel like a huge window between the two, which is hurting pre-order sales numbers. Ubisoft has a habit of the yearly launch thing, but we’ll hit on that in a moment.
