Top 5 Upcoming Games of 2015

This year isn’t over, and we really haven’t even hit some of the busiest times of the year yet with game releases. Why should that stop us from taking a peak at what is to come in 2015? With a bevy of titles on the horizon, some even in the early part of the year, it is hard not to look forward in what’s to come. In 2015 we will see even more of a divide between the new generation of consoles and the previous; which means, we finally will get to see a load of games that truly utilize the power of the newest consoles on the market. While there will be more to come, lets catapult into the gaming abyss and see whats to come for next year.

5. Xenoblade Chronicles X

Console(s):

Release Date: (Unknown Window in) 2015

How can you leave a game off the list that is a successor to the Wii exclusive hit, that still can warrant almost $80 a copy for a reprint? Xenoblade Chronicles X will no doubt be much more available, but one of the best games that most have never even played on the Wii had to make the list. This isn’t a sequel but a successor to the original game. The game follows your traditional JRPG format and niche or not, this will sell consoles for Nintendo. The last title was absolutely gorgeous on the Wii, which is no small feat, so seeing what a more powerful Wii U can produce is exhilarating.

  1. My personal top five at the moment has to include Uncharted, No Man’s Sky, Bloodborne, MGSV, and the Witcher 3…with honorable mentions going to The Order, Below, Halo 5, Quantum Break, The Division, Arkham Knight, Rime, Wild, The Tomorrow Children, Star Wars Battlefront, Until Dawn, Alienation, Hellblade, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, and The Witness. Whew…I’m going to be spending alot of money on games in 2015, because I will probably buy every title I just mentioned, and this doesn’t include what may be announced by some of Sony’s best first party studios in December.
