Five Reason Why: You Should be Buying an Xbox One This Holiday

4. Great Third Party Lineup

Every holiday there is a solid Christmas lineup, but this year being the first since the console launch, the lineup is stronger than ever. This month alone, heading into Black Friday, gives retailers a ton of options to cut the cost of some of your most wanted titles. Games like Grand Theft Auto 5, which just released a first-person mode trailer (the first in the GTA series), Far Cry 4, Lords of the Fallen, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Assassin’s Creed Unity, The Evil Within, Destiny, Shadows of Mordor, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, LEGO Batman 3, and the list goes on. There is flat out a ton to play, and that’s not mentioning all the great games that have been out for a while as well. When adopting a new console, waiting until the next year can be one of the smartest moves made. Being that it’s effectively a year on the twenty second, there is no better time to buy. The games are waiting, so why are you?

  1. already picked up my white xbox one bundle.
i should be getting it tomorrow. 😀

  2. I was thinking on getting an XB1, but with Dead Rising 3, Sunset Overdrive and other “exclusives” coming to PC, not to mention the rumor of Ryse coming to PS4 as well as Titanfall 2, it seems a bit pointless.

The vast majority of third party games continue getting better versions for the PS4 and next year Sony begins the year strongly with exclusives such as Bloodborne and The Order 1886. Even this year LittleBigPlanet 3 and Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- as launching as Sony exclusives.

All that being said, I do intend to buy a console this Christmas: a Playstation TV (AKA Vita TV in Japan).
