What a way to to start Day Zero of E3 2015 Huh?
Microsoft claimed that today they would unveil the greatest lineup of games in the Xbox history, and I think they delivered.
The Briefing started with a montage of Xbox´s greatest heroes including The Master Chief, Marcus Fenix, Lara Croft, Spartan Locke and a character from Fable Legends.
Right after that 343 Industries´s Bonnie Ross came to the stage to unveil the first look at Halo 5 Guardians, we witnessed how Spartan Jameson Locke and Fireteam Osiris hunted The Master Chief down fighting hordes of Covenant and Prometheans until they encontered a Guardian who did not like them hunting The Chief and attacked them, we saw a cinematic and right after that they unveiled Warzones a Firefight-Like gamemode wich you can play in multiplayer.
Then ReCore a game where we now know (Thanks to the trailer) you play as a girl and her companion robot dog through the desert and battle enemies, suddenly the dog acrifices to save the girl and drops a core, that is then transfered to a bigger Robot and the trailer ends with a launch window of Spring 2016.
Phil Spencer comes out and talks about a brand new Xbox One system feature: Backwards comptibility, they shown Mass Effect running on a Xbox One and out of nowhere appeard Todd Howard from Bethesda Studios Showcasing mor of Fallout 4 and Tells us that Fallout 4 will come with a copy of Fallout 3 for Xbox One,and also confirming that Fallout 4 PC mods are coming to Xbox One.
Then EA appeared and shown Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 a sequel to the great chamge that the franchise had back in 2013, and also talking a little bit more about EA Access and giving all Xbox Live Gold Members a free week of this service.
An unexpected game appeared and it was Dark Souls 3, folowed by Ubisoft Unveiling some more The Division and Talking about Rainbow Six Siege, then the Box Art car for Forza Motorsport 6 Came down to the stage and we saw a brand new trailer and release date, then Gigantic a team action game where heroes battle alongside a massive guardian in a fight for supremacy.
After that the ID@ Xbox program had a montage revealing some Indie games coming to Xbox One, some of these where: Cuphead (StudioMDHR), Beyond Eyes (Team17), Rise and Shine (Adult Swim Games), Below (Capy Games), Ashen (Aurora44) and more.
The teams behind Cuphead, Beyond Eyes, Ashen and Tacoma came to talk more about their games and the ID@ Xbox program, and we got a reveal of a new feature coming to Xbox One: Early Access, and got four titles revealed, one of them being DayZ, its creator then came on the stage and talked about ION his brand new Sci-Fi game.
A world premiere from rare came as they unveiled Rare Replay wich is decribed like this: Celebrate Rare’s 30th Anniversary with a jaw-dropping collection of 30 iconic games, lovingly presented for Xbox One. Fable Legends got his piece of cake and revealed a brand new trailer, but Rise of The Tomb Raider got an awesome Gameplay trailer revealing some of the story and the graphical capabilities as well as the release date of November 10 2015.
To finish up the conference Gears of War Ultimate Edition was revealed, and will be the Original Game, remastered in 1080p 60Fps, plus a gameplay trailer for the amazing Gears of War 4 showing a new protagonist and team, as well as some of the new enemies.
A final montage came up and Phil Spencer Walked out and said: “There truly has never been a better time to be an Xbox gamer”
And that´s it, the E3 2015 Xbox Media Briefing ended, and we are very pleased with Microsoft, but we think Bethesda is still on the lead.
