Yet another Nintendo NX rumor has surfaced and it’s spreading like wildfire. This one comes from a Reddit post, which is no surprise when looking at all the other rumors that have been spreading about the NX. In addition, the author claims that 9GB will be open, and the other 3 will be reserved for OS.Rumor has it that the Nintendo NX will be a 12GB RAM system. To compare this to other modern consoles, both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are equipped with 8GB of RAM. On both systems, 2GB of RAM are reserved for OS, and the other 6 are open.
The Reddit user also points out that Nintendo will have a lot of coverage this E3 and posted a list of games that are expected to come out as launch titles for the NX:
- Super Mario NEX (similar to Super Mario Sunshine)
- Zelda Wii U
- Luigi’s Mansion
- Fifa 17
- Call of Duty
- Deus Ex Mankind Divided
- Dragon Quest
- Mass Effect Trilogy
- Mass Effect Andromeda
Some of these games are of no surprise, such as Zelda Wii U and a new Super Mario Bros game. However, I find it intriguing to think that this next game might be similar to Super Mario Sunshine, or even a sequel to it! In addition, I’d love to see Luigi’s Mansion come out for the NX, perhaps they’re going to remake it (but it would most likely be a port). Again, these are just rumors, but it’s interesting to think about.
