Bethesda’s E3 2016 press conference is due to start on June 12th at 7PM PST or 10PM EST for our American readers, or if you’re a British fan like myself it’ll be June 13th at 3AM and 4AM for the European readers.
It’s available to watch on the Twitch video stream when it goes live, we’ll also be reporting all and everything that Bethesda reveals during the conference including games, trailers and headlines. Xbox and PlayStation platforms will also be hosting the conference.
But you don’t care about all that, you want to know what you’ll be seeing and hearing about, right? To begin with, we know for sure that Bethesda will be showing off their highly anticipated sequel to the hit stealth and murder game Dishonoured, developed by Arkane, that put you in the shoes of Corvo. This is set to be Bethesda’s biggest release for 2016, so we’re expecting to see a lot of gameplay and news regarding it.
Alongside this, we at ThisGenGaming got exclusive news about a potential ‘The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Definitive Edition’ being developed as a remaster for PS4 and Xbox One, due for release in late November. A definitive edition is usually released by the initial developer with some form of an update either graphically or in the engine, and with all DLC included, which is why something like this would be a huge thing to go on.
Alongside these reports, we’ve heard of a Prey 2 reboot being in development, with two additional sequels of The Evil Within and Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Apart from these however, Bethesda have managed to keep everything under the lid and we might see anything related to the big games that we all know and love such as Doom, Fallout and The Elder Scrolls. I’m hoping to see some more Fallout DLC and some Quake news personally. To close the show, popular band Blink-182 will be performing.
This is currently all we know, however we will keep you updated with all the news and anything we find out during the conference, don’t forget to tune in and have fun!
