Update: Although Amazon temporarily seemed to have some stock at a higher price of £379, it appears as if they’re all sold out and the store currently says “This item is only available from third-party sellers” which means it is sold out.
The day has arrived, Microsoft’s slimmer, sleeker, and all-around more beautiful re-design of the Xbox One is officially out today. We reported a couple of days ago on July 30 before any major sites that the Xbox One S was selling out in the UK at major retailers. Well, in the days following that news, it appears more retailers are having trouble keeping up with demand.
In fact, Amazon appeared to have received some new stock but in some news that’s just breaking it seems as if the price has gone up to £379.99 in wake of the stock shortages.
If you’re quick, you might still be able to get one from GameStop who appear to have a few left in stock at $349.97
Play the greatest games line-up, including Xbox 360 classics, on a 40% smaller console. Just don’t let its size fool you: with an internal power supply and up to 2TB of internal storage, the Xbox One S is the most advanced Xbox ever. It appears that the Xbox One S is sold out at current major retailers in the UK which probably means demand has exceeded supply
The Xbox One S is launching in 2TB, 1TB and 500GB models. The 2TB model is out now in the major Western territories. The smaller models are set to launch August 23rd in the US, but Microsoft has not confirmed EU dates yet.
