Recently this week we had two major reveals, one was Rockstar’s new and upcoming game, Red Dead Redemption 2, and the other was Nintendo’s new console, Nintendo Switch. However, I will be giving 5 reasons why Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Nintendo Switch could be huge for Nintendo.
It’s A Huge 3rd Party Title
Red Dead Redemption 2 would be huge for the Nintendo Switch because it is such a big name game, it would bring a lot of fame to the console. If Nintendo didn’t bring the game to their console, it could hurt the console and the sales because people would be playing it elsewhere, such as on the Xbox One or the PlayStation 4. This would also be a huge step forward on Nintendo consoles because there has always been a lack of Rockstar titles on Nintendo consoles. There has always been a big complaint of third party titles on Nintendo consoles as there has always been a lack of them.
Play Red Dead On The Go!
Another reason this could be big for Nintendo is that with the Nintendo Switch being portable, it will allow gamers to play it on the go and have the ability to play the game anywhere. This would mean that the game would get a better reception on the Nintendo Switch than on other consoles. Many gamers have always dreamed of playing titles such as Red Dead Redemption on the go, and the Nintendo Switch could allow this. A lot of people loved the fact that they could play GTA games on the go with the PSP, but can the Nintendo recreate this type of “mobile” gaming that the PSP brought us?
It Could Lead To More Rockstar Games On The Nintendo Switch
With Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Nintendo Switch it would mean that Rockstar has rights to the console to release the game on in. This means that we could see more Rockstar games on Nintendo in the future. It could mean that we might see games such as the famous Grand Theft Auto V brought to the console, but we would have to wait and see.
It Will Test The Power Of The Nintendo Switch
Portable consoles are know to not be anywhere near as powerful as consoles such as an Xbox or Playstation. If Nintendo brought Red Dead Redemption to their new console, it could show how powerful portable consoles are becoming, with the ability to run such a high quality game.
It Would Be A Console Seller
With Red Dead Redemption on Nintendo’s new console, it could help the sales of their console. This would be because more people would rather have a console where they can play their games anywhere they like rather than in just one place. The Nintendo Switch would allow this increasing the sales of the console. Also, if Nintendo brings Red Dead Redemption to the Nintendo Switch, it could mean that we will see more Rockstar games on the console in the future.

Yeah, any mega title on Switch would be huge for all the obvious reasons listed , not an ecstatic thought.
I think Switch will do ok for its game library.
