Gamestop conference call earlier today revealed some very interesting information regarding some of the biggest games of this month. Pokemon Sun & Moon was discussed during the Q3 earnings conference call which was said to have the most pre-orders for any video game in the last five years.
When you think about what competition Pokemon Sun & Moon has had in the last five years, and managed to beat all of them just shows how insane the hype is for the new Pokemon games. This also confirms the obvious, and that is Pokemon Sun & Moon was also the most pre-ordered game at Gamestop in 2016 which again is impressive as it’s gone up against titans such as Battlefield 1, Mafia 3, Gears Of War 4, Uncharted 4, and Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare.
Speaking of Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare, this was also discussed during the earnings conference call today, and it doesn’t look good. It was said that the game had underpreformed, but nothing else was said other than that which is interesting because it would be helpful to know how much it had underpreformed against previous Call Of Duty games, and how the Legacy Edition did.
