The official NPD Group reports have been released for November 2016, and they have revealed that Infinite Warfare topped the list for the best selling title in November 2016. The reports also show that the NES Mini sold 196,000 units which means combined with Japan’s figures, it has already sold 515,000 units in just the US and Japan alone. This isn’t including the rest of the world, with European countries numbers expected to be quite big too.
Even though Infinite Warfare topped the NPD best sellers list, it was still down from Black Ops III’s numbers. Game sales from November 2015 to November 2016 were also down 19%. It was also revealed that the top 3 games of November 2016 were down 43% compared to the the top 3 games of November 2016 which is likely a factor of the digital games market which has risen quite dramatically in 2016.
Here are the tweets which reveal the news about the NPD group numbers.
