Nintendo has revealed more details about the Nintendo Switch, but rather than an actual interview, and email of questions were sent by Kotaku who have got a response with some interesting details revealed. The first piece of information revealed was that the account limit on the Nintendo Switch will be eight accounts. These eight accounts will be useful as you will need to create separate accounts for each region you are planning to buy content from. So that means you can have an account that is locked to Japan as your region, which also means you can purchase Japanese games from the eShop without any region locking issues.
Nintendo also revealed that you shouldn’t give up hope yet on video-streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and others from coming to the Nintendo Switch. A future update is already in discussions to have video-streaming apps on the Switch. Nintendo said that the reason there was no video-streaming services at launch was because all of their efforts had gone “towards making the Nintendo Switch system an amazing dedicated video game platform”
Are you happy with Nintendo’s response to no video streaming services? Or do you think they are covering up due to the reaction of the lack of services at launch? Let us know in the comments section below.
