For some of you Halo fans, you’ve already gotten your hands on the Ultimate Edition and have been playing since Thursday. For the rest of you, you have to wait until tomorrow to get your hands on the game. Either way, you may have some questions on where to start first in the many modes available to you. That’s where we come in. Here are the first things you should do when you get Halo Wars 2.
First things first. Do the tutorial. Even if you’re an experienced RTS player, it never hurts to do it, and it will help you to get familiar with the controls. And Secondly, it gives you a Blitz pack just for doing it.
Next up, go through the campaign, if this is your first time RTS or if you want to be able to jump into multiplayer a little bit faster, I would recommend doing it on Normal difficulty. After each mission, you also get Blitz packs. Noticing the trend?
Once you’ve done the tutorials and the campaign, not only will you have gained the knowledge of the units in the game, but you will have hopefully mastered the controls before ever stepping foot into the arena. Not to mention that you have gotten quite a few achievements as well as acquired a good amount of Blitz packs by now, giving you more customization options with which to start building your Blitz decks.
This is a big game and there’s a lot to cover, so stay tuned for more guides on Halo Wars 2 throughout the week. Any guides you’d like to see made for the game? If so, please comment below. And as always, until next time, keep gaming.
