It’s that time again for the Games with Golds predictions. For May I had predicted Watch Dogs as one of the Games With Gold for the month. Looks like I was a month ahead on that prediction. The Games With Gold for June are Speedrunners, Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed III, Dragon Age Origins, and DLC for Phantom Dust.
1) Alien: Isolation
Alien: Isolation is a first-person action-adventure game with an emphasis on stealth and survival horror skills. You control Amanda Ripley and you must explore the space station and complete objectives while avoiding and defeating enemies upon the ship. You can run, climb ladders, sneak into vents, crouch behind objects, or even hide under tables or lockers. This Alien game features just one of the Alien creatures that cannot be defeated which make the stealth necessary in order to survive.
2) The Evil Within
The Evil Within is a third-person survival horror game that follows Sebastian Castellanos as he is pulled into a distorted world full of nightmarish locations and horrid creatures. The Evil Within was directed by the Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami. This is a perfect game for all of the Resident Evil type fans and for those who enjoy the horror games.
3) Batman: Arkham Origins
Batman: Arkham Origins is an action-adventure game sequel to the Batman: Arkham City game. The storyline is set 5 years before Batman: Arkham Asylum’s game. This game follows a younger and less refined Batman and a bounty is placed on him by Black Mask which brings eight of the world’s greatest assassin’s to Gotham City on Christmas Eve. The villains take advantage of the chaos while the police try to catch Batman.
4) Fallout 3
Fallout 3 is a post-apocalyptic open world set in Washington, D.C in 2277. Players control an inhabitant of Vault 101. It starts with the birth of the inhabitant and their mother dies during the childbirth leaving their father to raise the inhabitant by himself. When the inhabitant is older, their father leaves the Vault under mysterious circumstances. While looking for their father, the inhabitant finds themselves completing their father’s work while fighting against the Enclave, who are the corrupt remnants of US government that seeks to use the inhabitant’s father’s work for their own purposes.
