A lot of people have been reporting a game-breaking issue with the console version of The Sims 4: They can’t save and existing savefiles have become corrupted:
Technical issues like these appear in games from time to time, but it’s weird to see it in a game that has been around for such a long time. The recent console ports of the game were long awaited by Sims fans across the globe, but it seems EA should have spent more time testing the game before release.
The recent fiasco with them having to backpaddle on having Lootcrates that can be bought with real money in Star Wars Battlefront II has already had a big impact on EA’s perceived company value (and they weren’t the most popular dev/Publisher out there to start with) and if issues like these keep popping up, they have a bumpy road ahead of them.
