The wait is over Kingdom Hearts fans as Square Enix has announced the official release date for the game finally. At the end of the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World Tour concert tonight Square Enix announced Kingdom Hearts 3 will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 25, 2019 in Japan and January 29 Worldwide.

The game was slated to release this year but Kingdom Hearts 3 Director Tetsuya Nomura said the following: “I’m sorry that we’re asking for a little more time than initially planned. Please look forward to other information, including a few trailers at E3. Thank you.”
