Independent developer and publisher Rebellion announced today that they are working on several new Sniper Elite projects for pretty much every platform.
We posted a story yesterday about Sniper Elite V2 Remastered which is launching later this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition is another project they are working on bringing the franchise to Nintendo’s platform for the first time later this year. This feature-complete experience includes all the additional content ever released for the game, and Switch-exclusive local wireless multiplayer and motion controls.
Next they are working on a new, standalone Sniper Elite game for VR devices. It is being worked on in partnership with independent British studio Just Add Water who have worked on the Oddworld franchise.
Finally, the next major title in the Sniper Elite franchise is also in the works following in the footsteps of the widely acclaimed Sniper Elite 4. This game is currently set to release in 2020.
