Square Enix announced today during the Star Ocean Program broadcast that Star Ocean: First Departure R is in the works for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
This isn’t a new game but rather an HD port of Star Ocean: First Departure that released on the PSP back in 2007. That game also just so happened to be a remake of the very first Star Ocean game.
No other information such as release date or price were announced at this time but we’ll keep you updated as Square Enix announces more.
