Developer nWay in partnership with Hasbro, Inc. has announced that their popular fighting game Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid has received the brand new 2.0 update that brings Cross-Play support to all platforms among other features.
The fan favorite game has received extensive post-launch support since it launched early last year and today’s 2.0 update is the culmination of all of that. The update brings Cross-Play to the PlayStation 4 version of the game so that players there can play with the other Cross-Play enabled platforms which are Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The update all adds Lobbies and Spectator Mode to the game.
Past updates included a full Story Mode, Voiceover by the Original Cast, and Direct Match along with new playable fighters and stages. The new lobby system lets up to eight players join together in an online lobby to battle against each other. Up to four different matches can be run at the same time and others can spectate while they wait their turn.
