The weekly UK retail video game sales chart for the past week is in and Nintendo’s newest Switch title has taken the No.1 spot.
That title was Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX which is a remake of the original Mystery Dungeon titles that were released on the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS in 2006. Compared to the last entry that released back in 2016 on the 3DS this remake sold over 37% more copies in the first week and that’s not counting digital sales.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fell to No.2 to this week while last week’s No.2, Two Point Hospital, fell to No.6. The rest of the top ten includes several more Switch titles along with other games that have been sticking around in the charts such as Grand Theft Auto V. We won’t have to wait long to see some new titles in the charts though as games such as Nioh 2, Doom Eternal, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and more are all coming up very soon.
