The weekly UK retail video game sales chart for last week is in and the previous top two games have held onto those spots.
Marvel’s Avengers took the No.1 spot in its first week on sale and held onto it this past week even though sales dropped by 60%. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 held onto the No.2 spot for the second straight week even though sales dropped by 54%.
Elsewhere on the chart we have a sort of brand-new game at No.4 with that being THQ Nordic’s Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. This is a remaster of the 2012 RPG that EA originally published. Compared to the original release, this remaster only sold about a quarter of what it did but of course digital sales aren’t included in this. The game sold best on PlayStation 4 with 74% of total sales taking place on Sony’s platform.
The only other new entry in the charts was the physical version of Minecraft Dungeons which took the No. 6 spot. The retail version sold best on the Switch with 72% of sales happening there while PlayStation 4 was behind it with 16% of the sales.
