If you missed the news yesterday Sony announced that a total of ten PlayStation 4 games won’t be backward compatible on the PlayStation 5. If you were wishing to play any of those ten games on your new system though don’t give up hope quite yet.
The developer who made DWVR, which is one of the PlayStation VR titles included in that list of 10 games that doesn’t work on PS5, has confirmed that they are looking into the issue and working on a patch to make it work. They are hoping it will arrive before the PlayStation 5 releases. They are also looking into seeing if it can be improved using the PlayStation 5 Boost Mode.

This means that some of those other games could theoretically be patched as well to work on PlayStation 5. I’m personally hoping that Shadow Complex Remastered and Robinson: The Journey will work at some point. Here is that list of games that don’t work on PlayStation 5:
- DWVR
- Afro Samurai 2 Revenge of Kuma Volume One
- TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2
- Just Deal With It!
- Shadow Complex Remastered
- Robinson: The Journey
- We Sing
- Hitman Go: Definitive Edition
- Shadwen
- Joe’s Diner
