The weekly UK retail video game sales chart for last week is in and Nintendo had a huge week.
To start though FIFA 21 was once again the No.1 selling game for the week making it two straight now. The game is quickly closing in on becoming the best-selling game at retail in the UK this year. The current holder of that title is Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
When I said Nintendo had a big week it was because there was a total of 18 Nintendo Switch titles in the top 40 this past week. This was driven largely due to sales during Amazon Prime Day. Animal Crossing: New Horizons took the No.2 spot, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe took the No.3 spot, Minecraft for Switch took the No.4 spot, Ring Fit Adventure took the No.5 spot, and Super Mario 3D All-Stars took the No.6 spot.
