The weekly UK retail video game sales chart for last week is in and despite some big new releases FIFA 21 still came out on top.
Watch Dogs Legion from Ubisoft release last week but only managed to make it to the No.2 spot. The game ended up selling 54% less than Watch Dogs 2 did back in 2016 although we don’t know how well it did digitally to have the full picture. The game is also launching on the next generation consoles soon too which could also play a part.
The next new release making the top ten was Pikmin 3 Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch. It made it to the No.7 spot but sales were down over 18% when compared to the Wii U version. Again, digital data isn’t counted so we don’t have the full picture.
The last new release in the top ten was The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope from Bandai Namco. It too the No.9 spot but sales were down 47% when compared to the last entry, Man of Medan, that released last year. You can see the full top ten for the past week below.
