After months of rumors publisher Electronic Arts and developer Bioware have finally announced Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
The collection includes remastered versions of Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 and will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Spring 2021. The collection will work on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series and will have targeted enhancements for those consoles.
Each game will have updated textures, shaders, models, effects, and technical features, a modernized experienced, “super-sharp” resolution, faster frame rates, and visual enhancements. It will also include all of the extra DLC content that was released for those three games along with promotional weapons, armor, and packs. More information will come in early 2021.
