Sony Interactive Entertainment has released a new system software update for the PlayStation 5 this morning.
The 20.02-02.25.00 update is now available to download and weighs in at around 900MB. The patch notes only mention that it improves system performance.
Quite a few PlayStation 5 owners have been having issues with games crashing and the system crashing since they got their hands on it on November 12. Issues have popped up for some when using Rest mode, external HDDs, and more. Hopefully this new system update fixes the issues that those players were having.
The PlayStation 5 will launch in the rest of the world this Thursday, November 19. Let us know in the comments how you’ve been enjoying it so far.
