Electronic Arts has announced that they are bringing back their College Football video game franchise.
NCAA Football 14 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 was the last entry EA released before issues with player likeness caused them to have to stop making them. No release year was given for the next entry but EA says that over 100 College Football teams will be represented when it returns. Of course, the game won’t feature player names or player likeness. You can read EA’s statement below.
“We’ve heard from the millions of passionate fans requesting the return of college football video games. We love the energy, tradition and pageantry of college football and I am beyond thrilled to say we are back in development. We have a lot of really exciting work ahead of us, and a great team that is eager to bring a new game to players in the next couple of years.”
