The Most Anticipated Multiplayer Games Coming in 2021

If you thought 2020 was stacked with classic multiplayer titles, you haven’t seen anything yet.

With the release of the PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series X, and some powerful graphics cards for the PC, developers are hard at work creating some of the most gorgeous and exciting multiplayer games ever conceived. The best news is that some of them are due to drop this year.

Whether you prefer to take down hordes of NPC’s or compete against the best players in the world, now’s the time to cash out at the GTA V casino to lock and load with your squad in preparation for these much-anticipated multiplayer games.

Skull & Bones

If you’ve ever played poker and felt the tension in the game, then you’re going to fall in love with Skull & Bones. You’ll get to sail the high seas with your first mates or compete against them as you search high and low for an abundance of treasure. However you choose to play, just be sure that you’re not the weak link that ends up walking the plank.

Gotham Knights

Taking place after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight, Gotham Knights sees Bat Girl, Robin, Red Hood, and Nightwing step up to protect the city they love. Players will be able to drop in and out when they feel the desire to don the cape and battle some of Gotham’s most diabolical villains.

Overwatch 2

Since 2016, Blizzard’s shooter continues to be one of the most popular online multiplayer games. Perhaps it’s due to the focus on interesting characters rather than unlocking weapons or the support the developers have shown the title, including special events and new heroes to master. Regardless, Overwatch 2 is set to build upon what makes the original a classic and take the popular shooter to even greater heights.

Back 4 Blood

The developers of the Left 4 Dead series are back with a new cooperative shooter, and once again, you and your squad will be taking on hoards of the undead. You can expect new zombie-types, plenty of weapons, and an all-new original story. The team behind the game is also looking to add PVP modes where two groups of four can do battle against one another.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine

The Rainbow Six series has seen players do everything from battling in cathedrals to running through a casino in Vegas to stop terrorist organizations. But in this installation, you and your squad will have to do battle with an alien parasite that transforms humans into aggressive creatures. You’ll not only need to stop the spread of the virus and do battle with the infected, but you’ll also need to ensure you and your teammates don’t fall victim to it Otherwise, some difficult decisions may need to be made.
