Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Insomniac Games have announced that they will be releasing a free update for Ratchet & Clank 2016 to allow the game to run at 60 frames per second when played on PlayStation 5.
The update will release in April and continues Insomniac’s work at giving players choice in how to best experience their games. Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales both offered various settings to let players play with higher resolution or higher frame rates and so it’s great to see the team adding this to more past titles.
If you’ve yet to play the game you can still grab it for free on PlayStation 4 right now thanks to the Play at Home initiative. You only have until March 31 though so you better hurry.
