5 Best Video Games Of 2021 So Far

2021 has come and it’s already going pretty fast! We’ve had some great video game releases this year, but today, I’ve decided to cut it down to just the 5 best video games of 2021 so far. Here’s my list.

#1 – Hitman 3

Hitman 3 was the final release in the incredible trilogy of Hitman games with the series returning back to its roots in 2016 with Hitman. Hitman 3 is more of the same, but that’s not a problem with me as every Hitman game in this trilogy has been awesome. Though I will say that the locations, and the targets are the best that I’ve seen in the trilogy which is why I’d say Hitman 3 is my favorite of the trilogy. Hitman 3 release to a lot of praise from fans, and was seen as a perfect way to end of the incredible trilogy. And speaking of incredible, check out this bgo promo code before you check out the next entry in this list.

#2 – Resident Evil Village

Resident Evil Village is a direct sequel to where things left off in Resident Evil 7. So that means it was once again a first person game. Village had some incredible enemies and bosses, with the very well received Lady Dimitrescu who had many fans and even non fans interested in the game. Village is very similar to the amazing Resident Evil 4 with a lot of callbacks and design choices that makes it feel more of a follow up to Resident Evil 4. It’s certainly more of an action game, but that’s not to say it’s a bad game at all. This is one of the best Resident Evil experiences that you can find out there.

#3 – Chivalry 2

Now this was one of the surprise hits of 2021 for me. Chivalry 2 is an online medieval war game that you play in first person. You go through stages of a battle, as you either try to defend a castle or get through the defences and defeat those trying to protect their castle. The combat is fun and addictive, and with friends it’s even better. This is one game that you’ve got to check out.

#4 – Returnal

Returnal is a game that caught my eye last year, and it was more than what I expected. It’s a challenging third person shooter game, were you’re going to have to get used to dying and starting over again. Some have said this is the hardest video game that you can play on the PS5, and I’m going to have to agree with that. Returnal will leave players frustrated but the fun combat and interesting story will have them coming back for more.

#5 – Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 + 2 (PS5)

Now this entry might be a little bit of a cheat as this game released last year on PS4 but it was one of my favorite releases of 2020, and it’s hard to say that it’s not my favorite of 2021 either! The PS5 version is better graphically, framerate wise and just looks overall better with some awesome dualsense features added. This is one of the best remakes that you can find out there, so if you were a fan of the Tony Hawk games make sure to check this one out.

And that was my 5 best video games of 2021!
