Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Guerrilla Games have announced that Horizon Zero Dawn has sold 20 million copies as of November 28, 2021.
This number includes the PlayStation 4 and PC versions. Horizon Zero Dawn launched on PlayStation 4 back in February 2017 and then came to PC in August 2020. The team also announced that players have spent 1+ Billion hours playing in the game. Both of these numbers are very impressive given that Horizon was a brand-new IP.
The sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, is set to launch next week on February 18 on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The team released a new cinematic trailer today to generate a bit more hype before launch, not that the game needs it. Check it out below.
